12th Man
Barrett is starting to stand longer and longer independently and has even taken a lone step! I was able to snap a few pics while we were cheering for the Aggies on Saturday. I like to think he is just practicing for all the games he will have to stand for as an Aggie 12th Man!
Texas Fight!
The Aggie in me hates to post pics of my sweet little guy in burnt orange, but the love for my husband exceeds the hate! Being a house divided, Travis and I take turns dressing Barrett in our school colors every Saturday. Here are a few pics of my little one cheering for his Daddy's favorite team!
Grandpa bought Daddy this special beer from Austin! |
Heidikin's 3rd Birthday
The Powells are so lucky to have such great friends in the Andersons! Barrett stays with two of their sweet kids, Heidi and Charlie, everyday while the mommies are at work together. Barrett recently had his first Chuck E Cheese experience as we celebrated Heidi's birthday. I was surprised how much Barrett enjoyed himself! He loved to ride in the car with the main man and kicked his legs with delight as Mommy and Daddy shot some hoops. We always have so much fun with the Anderson family!
10 Months
Sooooo I've been a little behind on posts lately as Barrett is creeping up on 11 months now! Things have been super busy with this mommy starting a new school and grade. Now that the stress has eased up a little, I will definitely be better to post updates on the little one.
Barrett is getting so close to walking. He is pulling up on everything with ease, cruising around the furniture as well with his push toy, and beginning to stand on his own.
Barrett is eating more and more finger food and starting to not want any purees. He is still a great sleeper except for a few early morning wake-ups. We usually let him talk to himself for a little bit before going into his nursery and it usually leads to him falling back to sleep! He is also starting to cut another tooth. This will make nine teeth for our little guy! This one is his molar and he has taken it like a champ!

It's getting harder and harder to keep this little guy still to take his pics! Thankfully only two more month of these to go!
