Two Months

Another month has flown by with Eli!  He is growing like a weed and already in three month clothes (these boys don't get their height from their mama!) Eli is really recognizing our voices and started to track us from across the room.  He is also starting to get very vocal.  Eli loves to coo and smile right after a feeding.  He is happiest staring at the blinking lights on his play mat.  Eli could lay on his back, staring at those lights all day long!

Although he is the happiest baby, Eli started a little sleep regression this month.  He is still sleeping great at night (hello one wake up!) but is refusing to nap during the day.  He goes to sleep so well, but usually only stays asleep between 30 minutes to an hour.  I sure hope this is just a phase!

Eli visited Dr. T again this month and got another great report.  Here are his stats:

Weight:10lbs 5oz (7th percentile)
Height: 22.4in (20th percentile)
Eli grew over an inch!
Head Circumference: 39.2cm (50th percentile)

St. Patty's Day

Unfortunately Barrett had to visit the doctor (yet again!) today for an itchy rash mom suspected might be eczema.  After all his ear infections and tubes, Barrett has become very hesitant when it comes to doctor visits.  When we pulled into the parking lot, the tears began!  This was my first time taking B to the doctor with Eli in tow, and I was nervous how it was all going to go.  Thankfully Eli slept like a champ the whole time (through the screaming and crying!)  I think Barrett was thankful Eli was there since he found a nifty little hiding place under Eli's car seat.  After the exam was over, Barrett was treated to a pop and some green lemonade for being so brave!

Spring Break

Even though I was on maternity leave, I thought it would be fun to still "celebrate" and take the opportunity to do some fun activities with Barrett.  I was feeling confident in myself to take both boys out of the house by myself, and it didn't go as horrible as I thought it was.

The boys and I had a lunch date a Chick-fil-A, went to Jumpstreet with some friends, had a few play dates, and even enjoyed some Mommy-Barrett alone time while Eli was napping on a rainy day.  It was a fun week and proved to myself that I can do this mommy to two boys thing!

Chick chick, french fries, and some play time!
