What a Difference a Year Makes!

Here is a compilation of all the monthly pics.  It's so amazing to go back and see just how much this little boy has changed over the year!

We Made It!

12 months or one year, however you call it we made it!  What a milestone for our sweet boy!

Barrett is a super busy boy nowadays who loves to walk and jibber jabber all the time.  He now has four more teeth (molars, 12 teeth total), eats all foods (veggies are not his favorite), loves to play with Bentley, and freely gives hugs and kisses.  Can't wait to see what is in store for our little one in his second year!

Barrett also got two thumbs up from Dr. Troendle at his one year check-up.  He has hit and passed all his one year developmental marks.  Here are his stats:

Height: 30 inches (56th percentile)
Weight: 20 pounds 8 ounces (55th percentile)
Head Circumference: 46 centimeters (47th percentile)
Words: mamma, dadda, ball, uh-oh, bye-bye
Motor Skills: walking, throwing, kicking, self-feeding

One thing is for sure, this mamma is glad we are done taking monthly pictures.  It was getting so difficult to keep him still for these pics!

Barrett's Outlaw Birthday Bash

The day after Barrett's real birthday, we hosted family and friends at the house for a rip roarin', rootin tootin' cowboy themed party.  The birthday boy had so much fun celebrating with everyone.  He mostly loved the part with the cake!  The pics tell it all.  Thanks to everyone for your love, support, and words of wisdom to help get this family through Barrett's first year.  We certainly have a sweet, smiling and very active little boy!
