Christmas at the Powells

Santa came to visit Barrett early since we were going to be at my parents house on Christmas Day.  Even though Barrett has no idea who Santa is, Mommy and Daddy were happy to introduce this special tradition that will someday be so magical for Barrett!

Nothing like breaking in a new chair than with some milk and Mickey Mouse!

Visit to Santa

Even though the Northpark Santa is the most popular in Dallas, we decided to head to the Galleria for Barrett's first visit to see Santa.  Mom and Dad didn't feel like waiting in the long line at Northpark, and we were very certain Barrett wouldn't appreciate Santa as much as the older kids.  At the Galleria we had a minimum wait, a very real looking Santa, and the full reaction we had expected from our sweet boy.  Merry Christmas from Barrett!

Jacob's First Birthday

Barrett was excited to help his second cousin Jacob celebrate his first birthday.  Julia and Josh hosted an airplane themed birthday, with so many cute details!  Barrett had so much fun playing with his cousins, and especially loved the cake.  Our little boy definitely has his momma's sweet tooth!

He found it!

Thanksgiving

We first celebrated with the Andersens the week before Thanksgiving.  Jeff and Michelle graciously hosted the family.  The day was filled with fun with cousin, yummy food, and family laughs.  I am so thankful for my sweet family and the celebrations we get to share together.

Such a sweet smile!
Reid loves to read!!

The day before Thanksgiving, we made our way to Austin to see the Powells.  It was a beautiful day along with delicious food Carly prepared.  Barrett ate all the turkey on his plate like a good boy!

A little playtime before dinner.

Yummy turkey!
Turkey sure made him tired!

More playtime!

A trip to Austin wouldn't be complete without a trip to Phil's Ice House with the Doerrs.  Barrett loved having lunch with his cousin!

Sweet Charlie!
