Christmas Fun

This year Barrett really started to understand what Christmas was all about.  He loved watching the Polar Express on TV and said,"Ho, ho, ho!" every time he saw a Santa.  It was so fun to watch the magic of season through a child's eyes.  Here are some pics of all the Christmas fun we had this year!

Thanksgiving in Austin

We headed southbound 35 to Austin to spend Thanksgiving with the Powell side of the family.  We left early in the morning to try and beat traffic.  Unfortunately, Barrett got a little car sick just outside of Austin which made for a stinky rest of the trip.  Especially for this pregnant mommy's ninja sense of smell!  Thankfully Barrett felt great the rest of the trip and had so much fun playing with his cousins.  It is so much fun to watch all the boys begin to play and have fun together!

BOO Barrett's Two!

I can't believe my little boy is two now!  It seems like he has grown up so much this year.  Since Halloween fell on a Saturday this year, we had no choice but to throw our pumpkin baby a costume party complete with trick or treating.  Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative for our outdoor party, but at least the rain stopped in time for the littles to play a little outside and trick or treat!  Here are a few pics from the big day!

Cake, ice cream, and cheese balls.  Yummy combination!

This was Grandpa's idea!
