First Swim of the Summer

Barrett had been talking about swimming in Grandpa and JoJo's pool since Mother's Day.  One day in late May we finally had a free day to take the little boy swimming.  Unfortunately, it has been a rainy couple of weeks but Barrett could not wait!  Grandpa was the unlucky person nominated to get in the pool with him.  Thankfully for this mommy and daddy, Grandpa was the hero of the day and got in the very chilly pool! Barrett had so much fun floating the day away!

Two peas!

Pure joy!

Four Months

Another month has flown by!  Eli is growing and met many developmental milestones.  He is reaching and grabbing for everything, propping up on his arms, rolling over from back to tummy, and so much belly laughing!  His daddy really knows how to make him laugh.

He got another good check up from the doctor even though his weight has fallen off track this month. Hopefully we can get some good feeds in and limit his spitting up to get things back on track when we go back for a weigh check in a month.

Here are his stats:

Height: 23.62 inches (3rd percentile)
Weight: 12 pounds 15 ounces (6th percentile)
Head Circumference: 21 centimeters (27th percentile)

Happy brothers!
So much fun to watch him grow and change!

Mother's Day

Well Travis got the flu the Friday before Mother's Day, so the boys and I packed up and headed over to Grandpa and JoJo's.  Barrett and I had the flu shot, but Eli was too young!  I just couldn't risk Eli getting sick.  Unfortunately it rained all weekend and ruined our lunch plans at The Lot.  Instead, the Andersen side of the family headed to Mariano's for some yummy Mexican food.  It was a little stressful juggling my two little boys alone at lunch, but thankfully I had many hands to help!  All in all I had a nice day and my wonderful hubby spoiled me once he was feeling better.

Barrett had to give the pool a try...BRRR!!

Sweet boy who made me a mommy!

Being Silly

Just some pics of my silly boys!  We love to laugh and have fun!

Viva La Mexico!

Travis' company rewarded their employees with an all expense paid trip to Riveria Maya after meeting a huge sales goal for the year.  Thankfully the trip cam right at the end of my maternity leave so I was able to join Travis on this much needed vacation for the two of us.  We had not gone on a kid free vacation since before Barrett was born.

So we left the boys in the hands of Grandpa and JoJo, and boarded the plane for Mexico.  We had such a fun time and caught up on some much needed rest!
