Pumpkin Patch

We traveled to Canton to Yesterland Farms to see some pumpkins and ride some rides.  It was a beautiful day and such a fun place for Barrett to run free!  We found the perfect rides for him that he never wanted to get off, as well as get some cute pumpkin pics of our little Halloween baby!

Aunt Michelle's Birthday

The Powells met up with the rest of the Andersen family for a super fun birthday celebration at The Lot.  It was a great evening to sit on the patio and enjoy dinner while the little tykes played away in the sand!

Fun in the sand!

Love his sweet smile!

Daddy's Helper

This summer Barrett became obsessed with lawnmowers.  He LOVES to push his lawnmower around the backyard and watch Daddy mow our yard.  Every time Daddy gets his lawnmower from the shed, Barrett goes crazy!  One day (against my wishes) Travis let Barrett outside while he mowed.  Even though this mommy was scared, it was really a sweet sight to watch Barrett emulate his Daddy and the two mow the yard together.  I sure hope Barrett loves the lawnmower when it comes his time to actually help!

Choo Choos in Austin

We were invited by Carly and Papa to come to Austin to ride on Thomas the Train.  This was a no brainer for our choo choo loving little boy.  We had such a fun time visiting with family and riding the train!

I think he found ALL of Carly's trucks!
Off to watch the Longhorns
While Daddy was at the game and Barrett was sleeping...Mommy got some Blue Bell!!
Waiting...

Parting is such sweet sorrow

Sweet cousins!
Such a rough day!

Labor Day

Rather than go back and try to remember all the fun things we did this summer (remember pregnancy brain), I'll start at the end of the summer.  The Powells headed over to Grandpa and JoJo's for one last swim in the pool.

Barrett did not like the pool at ALL at the beginning of the summer, and it was all Mommy's fault!  I had been putting him in a life vest all summer and he had gotten better by the middle of the summer, but still wasn't the biggest fan of the pool.  One day Mommy left the life vest at home and Target only had puddle jumpers left.  So I grabbed and crossed my fingers!  I never would have guessed the magic that the puddle jumper did on my little man.  He became so comfortable and loved just floating away in the pool all by himself!  He even let Daddy throw him high in the air and come splashing down.  I was so proud of my brave little man!

Happy Swimmer!

Why not take a lawn mower into the pool?

We're Back!!

These next two pictures explain my hiatus from blogging for a while...

A New House

And a pregnancy!

With these two things and being a working, pregnant momma any extra moment I had to myself was spent hanging out on the couch!  Now that school is in full swing and I have a good schedule going with the little tike, I can take some time to share all the fun our sweet family of almost four is having!
